Tips: Why give Mares booster shots and worm them 30 days before foaling?
This will make mother's [mare] first milk stronger to fight diseases and parasites
[worms] . Which she can pass on to her foal from her milk. The foal is born
without any protection, so very important to nurse before milk loses its protection.
Which lasts about 12 hrs. to 24 hrs .
