Tip: Do you know why horses do not need hooves trimmed in the wild?
They traveled very very long distances ever day to find food & water.
Over rocks and hills etc. which kept hooves worn off. If hoof problems
happened they could perish. We should have them trimmed 6 wk. or 8 wk. to keep
healthier angles, that helps lessen wear and tear on joints and prevents strain
on the tendons also prevents the hooves from splitting or cracking & etc. .
